- Q 1. Do we need to bring our own sheets and bedding?
- A 1. All our Chalets have their beds made up with Fresh white linen and bedding with extra pillows and blankets.
- Q 2. Do I need to bring towels?
- A 2. All our Chalets have large white fluffy towels provided for each sleeping position. A bath mat, handtowel and face washer is also supplied with changes available on request and spares in the cupboards.
- Q 3. Do we have our own bathroom?
- A 3. Every Chalet has its own ensuite comprising of shower, vanity basin and separate toilet.
- Q 4. Does our Chalet have our own kitchen?
- A 4. Every Chalet had its own fully equipped kitchen with a sink, full size fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and kettle. We supply crockery, glasses and cutlery, pots, pans, utensils and tea towels for your convenience.
- Q 5. Do we have access to a BBQ at Emu Beach Chalets?
- A 5. A BBQ is available free of charge for our guests to use, situated in our covered Patio, which is suitable for large groups to share a meal. The BBQ patio has a sink with hot water for your use.
- Q 6. Do we have access to WIFI in our Chalet?
- A 6. Our guests do all have access to Free WIFI in our chalets. It is FREE not Fast, designed for email access and internet browsing.
- Q 7. Do I have parking available for my vehicle near our Chalet?
- A 7. Every Chalet has its own carport at the door, with plenty of space for buses, trailers, jet skis and boats on the property.
- Q 8. Can I bring my pet with me?
- A 8. Pets are welcome at Emu Beach Chalets. Our Pet Policy is available on our website and a fee is applied. Dog bowls and beds are supplied, please ask when making your booking and it will be placed in your chalet ready for your arrival.
- Q 9. Is there a fenced yard at my chalet for my dog?
- A 9. The chalets do not have fenced yards for pet use but some of our holiday houses do have fully fenced yards suitable for pets.
- Q 10.What time can I check into our Chalet?
- A 10. Check in time is any time after 2pm to allow time for our cleaning staff to do a thorough preparation of your Chalet.
- Q 11. Can I book an early check in to our Chalet?
- A 11. Early check in is by arrangement subject to availability - if the Chalet is cleaned and ready for you. If you need an early check in by all means let us know and we will do our best to have the Chalet cleaned as soon as its previous Guests have vacated. Unfortunately it is not always possible to meet the requested timeline. Check Out time is 10am and Check In time is 2 pm.
- Q 12. What time do I need to check out of our Chalet?
- A 12. Check out time is 10am to allow time for our cleaning staff to do a thorough preparation of the Chalet for our next guest.
- Q 13. Can I have a late check out time to vacate our Chalets?
- A 13. A later check out time is ONLY available by arrangement, subject to availability, if the Chalet is not booked for that night. There is a charge for each hour past 11am. Please ask our reception staff if you do need a late check out and we will assist you if at all possible. A holding fee may also apply.
- Q 14. I may be late arriving at the Emu Beach Chalets, do you have a process for late, after Office Hours arrivals?
- A 14. Yes we do have a hassle-free process for Guests arriving late at night. Please email or ring us ahead of time if you know you will be arriving after office hours, or ring on the day if you are unexpectedly delayed on your journey and we will give you instructions for an easy check in to your Chalet.
- Q 15. Can I bring extra people to stay with me?
- A 15. A fee of $25 per person, per night for each Extra person utilizing existing beds in your Chalets will apply or a folder bed may be added for the same fee.
- Q 16. Is there a charge for infants staying with us?
- A 16. Infants one years old are free of charge. For Children 2 years old or above the fee is $25 per child per night.
- Q 17. Do you supply cots and High chairs?
- A 17. Cots and High chairs are available free of charge for our Guests. Please book in advance and we will have it ready for you in your Chalets.
- Q 18. I am leaving early in the morning, what do I need to do?
- A1 8. Please ensure your account is fully paid the day before your departure. Leave the key to your Chalet on the bench inside your Chalet and lock the door as you leave. Travel safely to your next destination.
- Q 19. Do we have air conditioning or heating in our Chalet?
- A 19. All our Chalets have reverse cycle air conditioning so our Guests are comfortable all year round. Fans and heaters are also in each bedroom.
- Q 20. How often is my Chalet serviced?
- A 20. Our Chalets are self-contained, however we do offer a weekly service with clean towels available on request. More frequent servicing is also available on request. A charge will apply.
- Q 21. Is there a TV and lounge seating in our chalet?
- A 21. Every Chalet has a flat screen TV and appropriate lounge room seating for your comfort.
- Q 22. Is there a DVD player in my chalet?
- A 22. Every Chalet has a DVD player with the TV for your entertainment. DVD’s are available for hire from the office.
- Q 23. Does my chalet have a hair dryer?
- A 23. Every chalet is provided with a hair dryer.
- Q 24. What is the surroundings of Emu Beach Chalets?
- A 24. Emu Beach Chalets is in a tranquil garden setting surrounded by bushland away from all traffic noise. Just 80m from the beach. Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean and awake to birdsong.
- Q 25. How far away is the beach? Is it safe for children?
- A 25. We are 80 m from Emu Beach and a short stroll takes you to Emu Point where there is a very sheltered swimming area, jetty, playgrounds and safe shallow water suitable for small children. You are also able to walk from Emu Beach the full length along the sand to Middleton beach. A 4km drive by car.
- Q 26. How far away is the Albany town centre?
- A 26. We are 7km or 10 minutes from the CBD area and you have the option of taking the scenic route around Marine Drive and past the harbour for those with the time to do so.
- Q 27. Is there a restaurant at Emu Point?
- A 27. No however Squid Shack is situated on the Marina, and Emu Point Café at Emu Point is open through the day. More restaurants and cafes are at Middleton Beach area and the CBD.
